Providing Everything You Need
Individual Therapy
Pure Honey Counseling & Wellness Services LLC provides individual therapy to persons aged 15 and above. Individual therapy is one-on-one with the provider, and the sessions are confidential. The first appointment is an assessment session. The second session focuses on the treatment plan. What is important to note is during these first two sessions, the provider is doing the following:

Assessing appropriateness for individual therapy

Establishing a relationship (aka “therapeutic rapport”)

Providing information about privacy and client’s rights

Assuring the client to earn their trust

*For Clients aged 15-17, a parent / caretaker / guardian must complete the paperwork; and, there is an expectation of participation from the provider to participate in the intake process and any necessary follow up. This is especially important for safety planning.
If there is a reason that the provider is not the best fit, the provider will discuss this with the client. There will also be a referral to another service. Pure Honey believes that providers are like shoes: you need to find the right one that fits.

Gender-Affirming Letters (ages 18+)
Pure Honey believes that every person is self-determining. It is in this belief that every person seeking care is autonomous, and Pure Honey will work with clients in all of their gender-diverse ways. Because Pure Honey wants to assure that clients who seek care are being treated fairly and with consistency, there is a requirement of a minimum of three (3) sessions post-treatment plan before a letter will be considered. There is no cost for this service outside of standard therapy costs. Please keep in mind that surgeons will honor these letters for one (1) year. If continuous, uninterrupted services have occurred with no new concerns, the letter can be re-written if medical intervention has not yet been administered.
Parenting Education Services
Are you feeling overwhelmed or struggling to connect with your family? Our comprehensive services offer a path towards stronger relationships and greater emotional well-being. Pure Honey provides parenting education in combination with individual therapy services to parents. We offer two evidence-based, court-recognized programs:

- Nurturing Parenting Program® equips you with positive discipline techniques and communication skills to foster empathy, self-worth, and healthy development in your children.
​
- Nurturing Fathers Program® recognizes the significance that fathers provide in the lives of their children. This program is supportive in helping fathers to develop stronger, more fulfilling relationships with their children and co-parent(s). Through a combination of individual support, we are committed to helping you and your family thrive.
Both programs are evidence-based programs and are a minimum of 13 sessions; typically, 15-18 sessions. You will NOT receive a certificate of successful completion without achieving the minimal sessions. For judicial-involved individuals, please contact us to further discuss the requirements as necessitated by your court orders.
Supervision & Consultation
Pure Honey offers supervision & consultation to any provider or organization seeking to have a better foundation in mental health and substance use treatment and/or concerns. With Pure Honey having a knowledge-base and skillset to work with more specialized populations, the recipient(s) has/have better access to information for collaboration, informed care. Individual Supervision for working professionals ($75 per hour of supervision)

Triadic Supervision for two (2) students ($30 per student per hour)

Workshops, Speaking Engagements, & Trainings
Pure Honey Counseling & Wellness Services LLC offers their knowledge at formal and informal events to share their knowledge and perspectives on their passion topics. For Pure Honey, these efforts are part of the advocacy for mental health spaces that are especially important for members of historically vulnerable populations in an effort to educate, inspire, and motivate people.
