He is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor with Supervision Designation based in Columbus, Ohio. He is also licensed to provide Chemical Dependency therapy services. He has a history of working with individuals with multiple intersecting identities, various levels of mental health acuity, and community advocacy for folx of all communities. Born and raised in Ohio's capital city, William has had the honor to have a career working in the field of human services providing care to children, adolescents, families, and adults in various capacities. He now extends his expertise in his private practice to those who seek the assistance. He also earned his Masters of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Capella University. When he is not working, you can find William traveling with his partner and/or spending time somewhere hiking, camping, or cycling at a metro, state, or national park.
"I have an eclectic approach towards therapy through the use of solution-focused brief therapy and reality therapy. I believe that people already possess the resolutions to many of their challenges; and it is through our therapeutic relationship that I am available to collaborate with my clients for a better outcome. This does not necessarily require focus on a mental health condition; rather it is more important to address the current needs and functioning. Throughout our sessions, I will collect historical information that also impacts current feelings and behaviors. Together, we will work towards achieving wellness."
