Please keep in mind that all out-of-pocket payments, co-payments, and/or outstanding fees are due at the time of services. The deductible and co-insurance payments are due within 14 days upon the receipt of the invoice.

If you are struggling to afford therapy services, there are potential opportunities to get services through Pure Honey by applying to third-party grant funders. If that is still not an option, there are other community providers who can possibly assist. Grant funders are listed below:

Sliding Scale Options
Pure Honey Counseling and Wellness Services recognizes that both the LGBTQ+ and Black & brown communities have historically been disenfranchised due to systemic discrimination. With this in mind, Pure Honey ensures accessibility by providing more affordable options to people who identify within either of those communities. For individuals who qualify, they are able to access the sliding scale rates based upon their income. Proof of income is required for verification purposes. That can be one of the following:

•Most recent income tax return or W-2 form
•Two (2) most recent payroll stubs, if currently employed
•An eligibility letter for Social Security, Veterans Administration, or for any other benefits you receive (if applicable)
•Unemployment Determination of Benefits (if applicable)
•Copy of divorce decree or other court documentation verifying alimony and /or child support (if applicable)
•EBT eligibility form to verify benefits (if applicable)
•Signed referral letter from any 501(c)(3) non-profit organization on their letterhead with contact information (e.g., homeless shelter, child welfare, church, etc.)
•Detailed statement giving the amount of gross income per month if you are self or privately employed (if applicable)
Late Cancellation / “No Call, No Show” Policy
It is understandable if something occurs, and you are unable to make your appointment. If you are unable to attend your session, please call and/or e-mail your provider at least 24 hours prior to your session. Otherwise, you will be charged the late cancellation / no call, no show fee. This will need to be paid prior to making any future appointments. If you have any questions about this, please contact us.
